Spitnkitn

spitnkitn is a Long Island post-punk band built on jagged rhythms, loud guitars, and a healthy disregard for polish. At its core are three women who came to the band from other creative lives—photographer Lindsay Morris, jewelry designer Susan Nieland, and painter Barbara Dayton. Now joined by writer Christopher Walsh on lead guitar, they draw from punk and post-punk with a sound that’s raw, driving, and a little unhinged. They’ve been around long enough to know better—and play like they don’t.
