My Mom Is Here

Your mom's favorite rock band is hitting the road this summer with their debut EP in tow. My Mom Is Here—formed by Columbia University students Sam Seiff (vocals), Nick Sare (keys), Ryan Daar (bass), Aidan Speckhard (drums), and Stephen Park (guitar)—has been packing out iconic NYC venues like Baby’s All Right, Nublu, and Mercury Lounge, recently opening for Philly brass juggernaut Snacktime.

Their debut EP, Baby Steps, spans everything from the bittersweet acoustic single “You Just Won’t Give Me Love” to the sci-fi-inspired funk banger “Take Me To Your Leader,” complete with a music video starring Sam’s real-life grandma. From nostalgic mashups to innovative fusion originals, My Mom Is Here delivers a set that’s high-energy and heartfelt.
