The Water Boys

The Water Boys are a five-piece band made up of college students from the East End. Initially starting in 2019 as a group of high schoolers jamming in the basement of their drummer Dan Stark, they’ve grown to do shows across the East End and up-island. Their sound combines blues and jam band influences with the energy of 90s/00s punk and pop. At the heart of this is the lead guitar duo of Grayson Fox and Jack Oats who complement each other’s playing and drive them to new, sonic heights, while Vinny Palermo holds it down on bass. Concert-goers should be ready for a night of impassioned improvisations combined with uptempo sing-alongs. The band plays a mix of originals written by lead singer James Puccio and a variety of covers from artists like the Grateful Dead, John Mayer, Green Day, Taylor Swift and Sublime. With such a variety of songs and unique style, this is a band that you won’t want to miss.
