Danielia Cotton is a New York City based singer/songwriter originally from Hopewell, NJ. In 2010 Danielia was named Lilith Fair's Ourstage Local Talent Winner for NYC. Since then she has shared the stage with the likes of Robert Cray, Bon Jovi, and Gregg Allman. In the review of her Rare Child album The NY Times says this: “She’s a belter who can hold back or work her way up to a gospelly blues-rock shout, and in the songs she writes with her band’s brawny guitar riffs, she grapples with the road, salvation, holding on and letting go. “The truth will set you free, but it always feels like it tears you apart,” she sings. She’s a throwback, but a gutsy one.” Her latest studio album Good Day and new single “She Too" is out now where music is sold!

“The Tangiers Blues Band brings electricity to the stage
with renditions of modern songs meshed with classic
blues jams”— ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE
The Tangiers Blues Band was formed in New York City 1998 when guitarist
Chris Scianni and drummer Dave Borla met photographer Danny Clinch and
discovered their mutual love for blues music. The original line-up included
Chris (guitar), Dave (drums), Danny (harmonica), Huey Morgan (lap steel),
King (vox and guitar), Dave Sellar (bass) and Peter Levin (keys). Since then,
the band has evolved and added Diego Voglino on drums.
The TBB line-up can change from show to show, with a deep rotation of
musicians they have known and jammed with for many years. Special
guests sitting in with the band have included Brandi Carlile, Eddie Vedder,
Mike McCready, Dave Grohl, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, Perry
Farrell, G-Love, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, among
many others.
In the early days, the band had a weekly slot at Lot 61 where they started
experimenting with their set list. They soon realized that by "down-dating"
current hits and reworking non-traditional blues songs, they could appeal to
an audience that was not familiar with the blues, while throwing in "updated" versions of blues standards and originals to appeal to blues
enthusiasts. On any given night, the TBB can play a set including music by
Lady Gaga, Elvis Costello and the Clash that morph into blues classics
performed by Junior Wells, Muddy Waters and Albert King.
The band has performed their eclectic set of blues from clubs in NYC like
The Iridium, 55 Bar and The McKittrick Hotel to the stages at Bonnaroo,
Voodoo Fest and Bottle Rock. They are based in NYC.
