<p>Tall Tall Trees is the musical id of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Savino, a pioneer in the realm of experimental, DIY banjo music. Accompanied by his trusty Banjotron 6500, a highly customized, electrified banjo and effects pedal setup, Savino has wowed audiences since the 2009 debut of his self-titled debut album with his eclectic and innovative blend of psychedelic folk, rock and world music. His work seems to actively evade comfortable definition, upon first listen one will recognize the tenderness of Cat Stevens, the melancholy introspection of Elliott Smith, the anthemic psychedelia of Pink Floyd, and a deep abiding respect for Earl Scruggs. Savino often performs solo, showcasing his fleet-footed loop pedal mastery, as well as alongside long-time collaborator and fellow innovator, Kishi Bashi. Tall Tall Trees latest release, A Wave of Golden Things was released in 2020 on Joyful Noise Recordings.</p><p>A Wave of Golden Things, his fourth studio album, opens with the distant crow of a rooster and takes off in a dust cloud of swirling banjo, drums and bass. The lead off track, “The Wind, She Whispers,” quickly evolves from a droning mountain melody into full-blown banjo funk, setting the precedent for an album of unexpected turns. Though the banjo is heavily featured, the influence of Pink Floyd, and Cat Stevens can be felt as much as banjo mavericks Earl Scruggs, and Bela Fleck.</p><p>Savino, who self-records and produces his music, abandoned the heavily-layered textures of 2017’s Freedays for a more organic, stripped-down approach, leaving his distinct voice and thoughtful lyrics as the centerpiece. Despite the sparse arrangements, Savino still manages to evoke the sonic imagery and pastoral landscapes that have often been hallmarks of Tall Tall Trees albums. Each of the eight songs that make up A Wave of Golden Things suggest a world unto itself, from the cosmic country-tinged, “Ask Me Again,” to the sprawling underwater lullaby “Deep Feels.”</p><p>Opting for an immersive experience over a traditional studio, Savino set up residence and a mobile recording rig on a hemp farm in the Appalachian mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina, where he now resides. Recorded in just under three weeks, with much of it arranged on the spot, the album maintains a sense of immediacy, celebrating raw performance over perfection. “I’m giving up on my expectations, let them go and see where it takes us,” Savino sings on “Expectations,” almost seeming to revel in this experimental process.</p><p>Savino’s voice, left unadorned, can be simultaneously gentle and strong, at times sage-like in delivery. On the album’s closing title track “A Wave of Golden Things,” his soft spoken meditations on mental health reflect a new maturity in his song craft and singing. As the song develops, Savino’s voice gains confidence and his whisper becomes a fragile cry, neither full-throated nor fully secure, but at home in a warm bed of upright piano and echoing tape delay. “We all need a little peace and love right now,” he sings as if he’s at the end of his breath.</p><p>Reflective of the dark and challenging times of today, Savino’s message is ultimately one of hope and finding peace of mind in the chatter of the modern world. The last chorus reaches towards a transcendent beauty in the darkness, and makes a promise: “a wave of golden things, it waits for you.”</p><p>Christopher Paul Stelling: Artist Bio<br />Christopher Paul Stelling is an American singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist renowned for his intricate<br />fingerpicking, impassioned vocals, and evocative storytelling. Born on February 19, 1982, in Daytona Beach,<br />Florida, Stelling has traversed the U.S. and Europe, performing in intimate venues, festivals, and theaters. His<br />music seamlessly blends elements of folk, blues, and American roots traditions, drawing comparisons to artists<br />like John Fahey, Mississippi John Hurt, and Bob Dylan.<br />Over the past decade, Stelling has released seven albums, including Songs of Praise and Scorn (2012), False<br />Cities (2013), Labor Against Waste (2015), Itinerant Arias (2017), Best of Luck (2020), Forgiving It All (2021), and<br />his latest double LP, Forgotten But Not Gone &amp; Few and Far Between (2024). She began performing in local theater productions and studying classical voice at a young age, later joining the New York All State Choir and the ACDA All National Choir. Raye earned a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, studying under Grammy Award-winning artist George Shirley. Her original music showcases her classical training while incorporating modern pop and R&amp;B elements. <p>When you hear Annie Trezza it&#39;s often hard to believe that all that sound comes out of one person. With groovy guitar riffs, 60&#39;s inspired melodies, and transportive lyrics, she projects an energy well beyond her size. Upon listening to Dylan and Beatles records on repeat at a young age, she felt compelled to pick up a guitar and start writing her own tunes at age 14. She spends her summers playing all around her home in Montauk, NY. In the off-season when she&#39;s not chasing the waves she&#39;s writing new music, and continuing to play anywhere in the world she finds herself. Between her distinctive voice and her poetic lyrics, it&#39;s hard not to get a little carried away when listening to any of her tunes. And that&#39;s okay because that&#39;s exactly what they&#39;re meant to do. With an album to follow, her EP Blue Suitcase #2 was released December 2019.</p>

<p>Nancy Atlas and her band of Journeymen have been dominating the East End Music scene or Long Island for quite some time. Known for her raw, live performances and stellar songwriting Nancy and her band, The Nancy Atlas Project, have opened for almost everyone under the sun. To name a few: Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Buffett, Crosby, Stills and Nash… the list goes on and on. The reason is simple. When people want a solid act to open their show and get the crowd warmed up, they call  Nancy and her boys because they know they will deliver. Every time.<br />Nancy grew up with gypsy blood in Commack, NY. Eager to get the buck out of dodge she spent her entire college years abroad at both Cambridge University in England and Richmond College in London and Florence.  She majored in art history, fine art, drinking lots of wine and talking shit. There was a serious recession going on the year she graduated college so instead of becoming a mad advertising executive she walked down to Portabello Road, London, bought a guitar for 60 quid and never looked back. It was pouring buckets of English rain that day so they gave her a black plastic bag to cover her guitar as it didn’t come with a case. Nothing, it is said, can stop true desire.<br />Nancy now lives in Montauk, New York with her husband Thomas and her two sons, Cash and Levon, and her daughter Tallulah. When she is not writing a song or on stage rocking out, she can be found clamming with her kids, surfing with her kids, walking with her kids, reading with her kids or <a href="http://nancyatlas.com/?page_id&#61;285">cartooning</a> for her kids. On rainy days she lazily traces tour maps of Europe with her right hand while sipping her beloved PG Tibs English Tea and smiling out into the East End Mist.</p><blockquote></blockquote>

<p>Joe Delia Is an internationally-acclaimed pianist and film composer with 40-plus feature film scores to his credit. He is best known locally for his “stacked keyboard” playing with the Nancy Atlas Project and for his own East End anthems:  “Fire in my Belly” and “Under the Montauk Moon.”</p><p>Delia started his music career in his early teens signing to RCA Records and to management with Sid Bernstein.  After that, as a studio musician in NYC, and as piano player, arranger, and touring musician, he worked with various artists, including Stevie Wonder, Dusty Springfield, Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, Phoebe Snow, Dave Edmunds, Kim Larsen, Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, and Keith Richards.  He collaborated with former New York Dolls frontman David Johansen for six years as musical director for the Buster Poindexter show, which yielded the world-wide hit song “Hot, Hot, Hot.”</p><p>Well known for his collaboration with director Abel Ferrara, composing film scores for most of Ferrara’s films including, among others, “Ms 45”, “King of New York”, and “The Bad Lieutenant”.  The most recent of that collaboration is “Padre Pio”, starring Shia LaBeouf, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and won Delia Best original score at the Sienna Film Festival.</p><p>The proud parents of son Jake, he and his wife PJ live in Montauk with their two cats. Days are spent working on themes for a new Ferrara feature titled American Nails, starring Willem Dafoe, and nights are spent playing all over the East end. He is also an active member of the recovery community on the East End, and plays the hammond B3 every Sunday at the Calvary Baptist church in East Hampton.</p>

<p>The Dog Watchers formed in 2015 from the remnants of various east end musical projects. The band consists entirely of local musicians from around East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Focusing on a broad range of covers from the golden age of the 60&#39;s &amp; 70&#39;s, as well newer material. The goal is to surprise and entertain with songs you know &amp; love, ones you may have not heard in a while along with ones that may be new to you. The band members are Michael Rusinsky on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Anthony Liberatore on Vocals and Guitar, Toby VanKeuren on Drums and Bob Charney on Bass. There were frequently dogs present in the studio during rehearsals and that&#39;s how the band got it&#39;s name. Repertoire includes songs from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Springsteen, The Decemberists, Steve Earle, The Band and many more. The band has played various venues all over the east end including The Stephen Talkhouse, Guild Hall as well as numerous private parties and benefits. </p>

<p>Black &amp; Yellow is the collaboration of local Hamptons frontman Ray Ramos and renown drummer Julian Edmond, both formerly of the band Hello Brooklyn. The band&#39;s lineup also features NYC-based singer Jason Karnell, who will co-front the band with Ramos. Black&amp;Yellow promises to feature musical selections from the early days of Motown, dance and R&amp;B to hip-hop and chart topping hits today.</p>

Expect to hear songs by David Bowie, Aerosmith, The Cure, Tom Petty, Modern English, The Beatles, Simple Minds and The Doors, just to name a few.</p><p>The Seismatics are:</p><p>Michael Schmidt – lead vocals, rhythm guitar and harmonica</p><p>With decades of performing and recording experience, Michael Schmidt has fronted several notable East Coast and Midwest groups including: U2 Decades, U2byUV, The Deluge and The Louder You Hush. Michael also writes and produces original songs that he has licensed for film, television, and broadcast radio. </p><p>Jeff Levitt – lead guitar and vocals. Jeff has been playing lead guitar in numerous rock bands for decades, covering everybody from The Beatles to The Allman Brothers and Steely Dan.   He is the lead guitarist with The Moondogs since 2016. Jeff is also a member of The Steven Tekulsky Band / Steven Tekulsky Trio and is a frequent member of Sarah Conway and the Playful Souls.</p><p>David Zensky – lead guitar and vocals.  David is a Long Island native and lifelong rock &#39;n&#39; roll roller, most recently playing in some of New York City&#39;s favorite tribute bands, including Mockingbird Hill, Local Heroes, The Letterbombs and Tumblweed Connection.</p><p>Paul Brokaw – keyboards and vocals. Paul is another lifelong rocker and is also a prolific composer having written, recorded and produced over 600 pieces of music published in over 36 countries around the world. Paul has played in numerous bands for decades and is currently a longtime member of Damaged Goods and Ken McGorry and the Achievements.</p><p>Troy Grindle – bass and vocals. Troy is a multi-instrumentalist (bass guitar, guitar, drums, violin, keyboards) best known as a member of Real East End Brass (REEB!). He also performs with Peconic County Ramblers, Hamptons Chamber Orchestra and Alhambra Orchestra</p><p>Mark Pohl – drums and vocals. Delivering the swinging rhythms for The Seismatics has been the culmination of over 40 years on the drum kit, playing for and with such musical luminaries as The Haymakers, The Pop-O-Matics, Frank Barajas &amp; the Shakedowns, Albert Lee, Nick St. Nicholas, The Corsican Brothers, Arlen Roth, Gene Casey &amp; the Lone Sharks, Lillie Mae, The Buzzards, The Bobby Volkman Trio, EverBlue, The Moondogs, Blue Bayou, Freddy &#34;Boom-Boom&#34; Cannon, Big Daddy Deluxe, The Mary Lamont Band, Boomerang, The Rockinghams, Eddie Clendenning, Brien McVernon, among others.
