John Brownıs Body is a progressive reggae band based in Boston and Ithaca. The band focused on roots reggae when it formed over a decade ago, but JBBıs sound has since evolved immensely. Their music uses reggae as a foundation, but incorporates dub, drum & bass, hip hop and even pop elements to create what the band calls ³Future Roots.² The Daily News called their music ³revolutionary and reverent.² Their latest release, AMPLIFY, debuted at #1 on Billboardıs Reggae Chart in October 2008; they have an EP, RE-AMPLIFY, coming out in March, which includes remixes by Disashi (Gym Class Heroes), GoldieLocks, Dubmatix, Blue King Brown and Tommie Sunshine.
