Rip Larry Wagner

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our dear Larry Wagner on November 2nd. Larry was the longest-standing member of the Talkhouse family. He was here before all of us, in many ways, Larry was as much a part of the Talkhouse as the walls themselves. Larry was a fixture at our bar, a constant through decades of change, and one of those rare people whose presence made a place feel like home. Always there with a warm welcome, a big smile  and, more often than not, a piece of trivia he couldn't wait to share. Not a week went by that someone didn't walk through our doors and ask, “Is Larry working?” That alone says so much about the man he was and the countless lives he touched. The true magic of this place has always been the people who make it what it is. Larry was one of those people. One of the originals. One of the constants. One of the greats. It is hard to imagine walking through our doors and not seeing him there. Harder still to imagine a Talkhouse without Larry. Rest easy, Larry.
